Sitaare Zameen Par (2025)

“Sitaare Zameen Par” is a heartwarming comedy-drama that follows the story of an arrogant basketball coach whose life takes an unexpected turn after a DUI offense. As a result, he is sentenced to community service, which requires him to coach a team of Neurodivergent adults. Initially reluctant and prejudiced, the coach gradually forms meaningful bonds with his players, discovering new lessons about acceptance, resilience, and the true spirit of teamwork.

Directed by R.S. Prasanna and written by Javier Fesser, David Marqués, and Divy Nidhi Sharma, the film offers a touching and humorous narrative about breaking down personal biases and embracing differences. Set against the backdrop of community basketball, it explores themes of empathy, inclusion, and the importance of second chances in life.

The film stars Aamir Khan as Gulshan, the tough yet transforming coach. Genelia Deshmukh joins the cast along with Dolly Ahluwalia, portraying characters that play significant roles in reshaping Gulshan’s perspective.
