Crawlers (2025)
Set in the year 2030, Crawlers depicts a grim future where a Zombie Pandemic of Biblical proportions has ravaged the United States, drastically reducing its population. As the infected roam the lands, survivors desperate for safety flee southwards to Mexico in search of refuge. Their destination is “El Santuario del Sur,” a remote rocky plateau believed to be free of zombies and a sanctuary for those lucky enough to reach it. The film combines elements of action, adventure, horror, science fiction, and thriller to create a tense and thrilling survival story.
Directed and written by Gisyerg Bermudez, Crawlers explores the raw struggle for survival in a post-apocalyptic world. The story focuses on the human spirit, the fight against overwhelming odds, and the hope that still exists in the darkest of times. The narrative tension is heightened by the constant threat of the undead and the challenge of maintaining trust and safety within the survivor group.
