The Exit 8 (2025)

The Exit 8 is a psychological horror thriller that takes viewers deep into the unsettling labyrinth of an underground passage where nothing is quite what it seems. Directed by Genki Kawamura, the film tells the story of a man who finds himself lost within a dimly lit, seemingly endless corridor. As he searches for a way out, he encounters a mysterious “guide” who leads him further into the depths of the unknown.

Along the way, inexplicable and eerie occurrences unfold, leaving the protagonist and the audience questioning the nature of the passage. Is it a real physical space, a dreamlike illusion, or a psychological manifestation of the man’s fears? Written by Kotake Create, Genki Kawamura, and Hirase Kentaro, the narrative explores themes of isolation, perception, and the blurred line between reality and delusion. Kazunari Ninomiya delivers a gripping performance as the Lost Man, supported by Yamato Kôchi as the enigmatic Walking Man and Naru Asanuma as Kotone Hanase. Nana Komatsu also features in a key role, adding depth to this chilling tale.
